The pneumonia epidemic is accelerating across the globe Monday, February 24. Some 78,000 people have been infected worldwide, in around 30 countries and territories.
South Korea and Iran are on the front line, with the highest number of contamination and deaths outside China, respectively. In Europe, Italy now has five deaths. Four countries – Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait and Bahrain – are newly affected.
